We are sad to announce that on April 25, 2024, at the age of 61, Roberta Lynn Whitesides of Hiddenite, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As we bid adieu to Roberta's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Roberta has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding us through the labyrinth of life's journey.

She was predeceased by : her husband Johnny Whitesides; and her son Stephen Peoples. She is survived by : her daughter Tiffany Taylor (Curt) of Tennessee; her brothers, Gary Cox (Tammy) of Statesville and Pete Cox (Ruth) of Morganton; her siblings-in-law, Libby Cox of Statesville and Alan Whitesides (Lisa) of Wilkesboro; her nieces, Nikki Miller (Gary) of South Carolina, Kasey Cox of Statesville and Brandi Cox (Brent) of Statesville; her cousin Jeff Peoples (Mary); and her pet Tiny. She is also survived by several great-nieces, nephews and friends.

A celebration of life was held on Monday, April 29th 2024 at 6:00 PM at the Adams Funeral Home Chapel (307 Main Ave Dr, Taylorsville, NC 28681).
