She was predeceased by : her parents, Darrell Furman Hudson and Frances Virginia Barrett Hudson; and her husband Harold Mitchell. She is survived by : her son Darrell Ernest Mitchell (Lauren) of Hiddenite; her stepdaughters, Cathy Wilson (Randy) of Idaho and Sheri Gates of Harrisonburg, VA; her grandchildren, Chloé, Corey Lawson, Cayte and Clara Ann Mitchell; and her sisters, Mary Jane Kipper (Chris) of Gloucester, VA and Gail Hastings (Frank) of Easton, MD..
