She was predeceased by: her husband Clarence Eugene Donahue; her parents, Wade Sloan and Annie Martin Sloan; her daughter-in-law Becky Donahue; her grandson Wade Donahue; her sisters, Yvonne Gibson (Jack), Ruby McLain and Katherine Sprinkle (Haskell); her brother-in-law Don Ziglar; and her children, Dr. Michael Donahue (Susan) of Lenoir, Rev. Cecil Donahue (Anne) of Greensboro, Dale Donahue (LeAnn), Brenda D. Siniard (Lee) of Hiddenite and Robin D. Lambe (Joe) of Kannapolis.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Paul (Katie), Thomas, Riley (Jenica), Ashley (Shane), Brandi (Chad), Dustin (Jeni), Alli (Brett), Taylor, Melanie (Shea), Caleb (Mary), Justin (Courtney), Shane (Kirsten) and Ciara; and her sisters, Linda Ziglar and Susan Raymer (Ray). She is also survived by 20 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Pisgah Methodist Church (488 Hill Farm Rd, Hiddenite, NC 28636). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Pisgah Methodist Church Building Fund (488 Hill Farm Road, Hiddenite, NC 28678) - a place that meant so much to Ginger throughout her life, and to Gordon Hospice House of Statesville (https://apps.hoic.org.).
