He is survived by: his daughters, Kim Cumming of Raleigh, NC and Dana Holton Jenkins (Jeff Jenkins) of Henderson, NC; his grandchildren, Paul Cumming (Lauren (St Louis), Rachel Jenkins Shepherd, John Homer Jenkins (Allison (Asheville) and David Cumming (Taylor (New York); and his great grandchild Finley Theodore Cumming (New). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins.
The family requests that memorials be directed to a charity of one's choice rather than to the funeral.
