He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Kassakatis and Nettie Kassakatis; his former wife Rose Kassakatis; his wife Patricia Kassakatis; his sister Yvonne Barrett; his daughters, Elaine Bell and Lynn Dalsheimer; his daughter-in-law Terri Kassakatis; and his granddaughter Jenny Geilfuss.
He is survived by: his sons, Steve Kassakatis and Tom Kassakatis (Michelle). He is also survived by ten grandchildren and twenty great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 21st 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Sechrest-Davis Funerals and Cremations (18 Randolph St, Thomasville, NC 27360). A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 22nd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
