With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Alberta Sexton Johnston (High Point, North Carolina), who passed away on April 20, 2022 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Eddie Sexton and Ellen Stroud Sexton; her husband John A. Johnston, Sr.; her siblings, Shay Campbell, Harold Sexton (Wyma), Lindy Sexton (Violet), Bud Sexton (Betty) and Lee Byrd (Charles); and her daughter-in-law Christine Manger Johnston (John, Jr.).
She is survived by: her children, John A. Johnston, Jr., Ricky L. Johnston (Patricia) and Penny Lockhart; and her brother Buck Sexton (Carrol). She is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren.
