She was predeceased by: her parents, Lacy Lewis Strickland and Annie Madeline Coley Strickland; her daughter Tina Brady; and her siblings, Martha Robertson, Teresa Hurley and Gary Strickland.
She is survived by: her children, Todd Oates (Pam), Chad Oates (Jill) and Kelly Wilson (Danny); her siblings, Sue Sparks, Jenny Waynick, Becky Grant, Johnny Strickland and Randy Strickland; and her grandchildren, Eric Freeman, Michael Oates, Tyler Oates, Kaitlyn Garner, Caroline Walker, Emily Oates, Amber Oates, Cole Jackson and Laci Jackson.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Alice's honor to Hospice of Randolph County, 416 Vision Drive, Asheboro, NC 27203.
