He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Estel and Esther Ruth Hale; his son Jarrell "Jay" Hale; and his brother David Hale. He is survived by: his wife Mildred "Millie" Bivens; his daughter Kim Grant (Marty) of Trinity; his sister Pat Thomas of Midway; and his grandchildren, Jayden, Cameron and Destiny Grant.
