She was predeceased by: her parents, William Perry Deberry and Daisy Chisem Deberry; her husband Walter Carter; her children, Brenda Jean Wright, Vedamerl Wright and Phillip Wm Deberry; and her great grandchildren, Harrier, Brianna and Camden.
She is survived by: her daughter Bernadette Smith (Leon) of High Point, NC; her grandchildren, Michelle Wright of High Point, NC, Kennon Wright of Reidsville, NC, Aleshia Harris of Winston Salem, NC, Kennedi Harris of High Point, NC, Simone Wright of Winston-Salem, NC, Trekelia Chavis (Chris) of Fuquay, NC and Dion Deberry of Durham, NC; her great grandchild Chance Wright of Richmond, VA; her grandchildren, Myah Craig (Brod) of Raleigh, NC and Noah Smith (Brianna) of Thomasville, NC; and her great great grandchildren, Braylin of Darius, Bryson, Bayliegh, Mayson and Noah Jr.. She is also survived by other family members and friends.
