She was predeceased by: her parents, William Earnest Coles and Margaret Mae Pennington Coles. She is survived by: her husband Thomas Ray Staley; her siblings, Betty, Nancy and Richard; and her children, Nancy S. Rade (Rick) of High Point, Mark E. Staley of Elizabeth City, NC and Thomas J. Staley of Greenville, VA. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, twenty-two great-grandchildren; and one great- great grandchild.
