He was predeceased by: his parents, William Hamilton Witcher and Ida Kidd Witcher; his wife Betty Steele Witcher; and his sister Doris Hodgin. He is survived by: his children, Rick Witcher (Beth) of High Point, Susan Lanier (Terry) of High Point and Angie Johnson (Gerald) of High Point; his sister Phyllis Sykes of Greensboro; his grandchildren, Laura Comer (Josh), Brooks Lanier (Marissa), Clay Lanier (Jessica), Megan Johnson and Morgan White (Adam); and his great grandchild Caroline Comer.
