He is survived by: his wife Mildred Bean Gibson; and his children, Steve Gibson (Mary) of Knoxville, TN, Mike Gibson (Pam) of High Point, NC, Mark Gibson (Gina) of Greensboro, Renee Voncannon (Eddie) of Asheboro and Lisa McWilliams (David) of Atlanta, GA. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
