It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carolyn Hedrick (High Point, North Carolina), who passed away on June 10, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Carolyn Hedrick to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Riley Woodrow and Grace Ellen Skeen Sumner; and her siblings, Euphon Metzger, George Sumner, Von Sumner and Darrell Sumner.
She is survived by: her husband Billy Franklin Hedrick; her sons, Eric Hedrick (Melissa) of Trinity, Denzel Hedrick (Sid) of Trinity and Wyndel Hedrick of Pleasant Garden; her grandchildren, Alex Hedrick, Samantha Hedrick, McKenzie Hedrick, Holland Hedrick and Levi Hedrick; and her great grandchildren, Mia Hedrick and Redden Hedrick. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
At Carolyn's request, her body was donated to Wake Forest School of Medicine for medical studies and no immediate services are scheduled. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Pennybyrn at Maryfield, 109 Penny Road, High Point, NC 27260.
