With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Cecil Boitnott (High Point, North Carolina), born in Roanoke, Virginia, who passed away on July 4, 2019 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Jameson Boitnott and Garnette Arnold Boitnott. He is survived by: his wife Betsy Lee Hulin Boitnott; his children, Christopher Chappell (Cindy) of Lyman, SC, Dawn Spears of High Point and Tracy Ammons (Ronald) of High Point; and his siblings, Richard Adams of Lexington, KY and Janie Bolin of Greensboro. He is also survived by three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

“I never saw my brother mistreat a single soul in his life. He was witty and funny. An eager listener, one of his frequent statements was "let me ask you something", and he always listened intently. I loved when he came home on leave from the Navy. He would always bring me little toy cars.( he played with them). I miss you brother, and I love you. Ricky.”
