Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Charlie leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Arnold Raiford and Brownie Leigh Askew Futrell; and his siblings, Josephine Turner and Arnold Raiford Futrell. He is survived by: his wife Jacqueline Mae Pettigrew Futrell; his sons, Charles Reed "Chad" Futrell of Dunn and Robert Brent Futrell (Crystal) of Indian Trail; and his grandson Quinton Thomas Futrell of Charlotte. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
