She is survived by: her spouse Jerry Gilbert Shaver; her children, Brent Shaver (Peggy) of Holden Beach, Tony Shaver (Ann) of Holden Beach, Kim Garner (Doug) of Denton and Julie Shoaf (Jim) of Welcome; her brother Ken Tilley (Linda) of Hickory; her grandchildren, Steven Shaver, Jordan Shaver, Jay Shaver, Christopher Shaver, Austin Shaver, Jackson Shaver, Mary Katherine Baker, Caroline Stephens, Allison Byrd, Gilbert Shoaf, Lauren Poindexter and Wesley Shoaf; and her stepgrandchildren, Donald Garner, Fallon Maness and Dexter Garner.
A memorial service was held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the First United Methodist Church (512 N Main St, High Point, NC 27260). Visitation was held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
