Clara Lawson Varner Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Clara Lawson Varner (High Point, North Carolina), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 13, 2026 at the age of 84. She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert O'Brian Lawson and Mary Elizabeth Robinson Lawson; her siblings, D. C. Lawson, Arnold Thomas Lawson, Billy June Lawson and Sally Louise Carter; her husband Robert Varner (Bobby); her grandchildren, Chris Brown and Kevan Brown; and her great grandchild Walker Beery.

She is survived by: her daughter Donna V. Wood (Donnie) of Jamestown; her grandchildren, Robert Todd (Michelle), Crystal Gainey (Steven), Angel Beery (Taylor) and Khoury Wood; her great grandchildren, Autumn Brown-Foy (Jarren), Peyton Wood (Nicholas), Branson Warren, Jeremiya Warren, Tanner Brown, Taylor Brown, Khirstyn Warren, Evelyn Beery and McLain Beery; her great great grandchildren, Delaney Foy and Olivia Shepard; her grandchildren, Peyton Wood (NicholasGreat), Branson WarrenGreat, Tanner BrownGreat, Taylor BrownGreat, Khirstyn WarrenGreat, Walker BeeryGreat, Evelyn BeeryGreat, McLain BeeryGreat and Delaney FoyGreat; and her great grandchild Olivia ShepardGreat. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.
