He is survived by: his children, Samir Patel (Binta Patel) of High Point, Yavnika Patel (Pranav) of Cary and Javnika Patel (Bipin) of Indian Land, SC; his nephews, Ronak Patel (Pratiksha) of Lynchburg, VA and Niraj Patel (Niharika) of Charlotte; his grandchildren, Dhruv, Pankti (Sunny), Pujan (Radhika), Kirtan (Radhika), Dhiren (Priya), Nilam (Chintan), Rushvi, Aarish, Vanshi and Aarana; and his brother Ganshyambhai Patel (Ushaben).
