He was predeceased by: his father Horace Boyce; his brothers, John Luther Boyce and Horace Boyce; his daughter-in-law Lois Boyce; and his grandson Eric Moore.
He is survived by: his children, John Boyce of Statesville, NC, Anthony (Linda) of High Point, NC, Shirelle Allen (Thomas) of Greensboro, NC and Wytina Blackmon (Darrell) of Greensboro, NC; his siblings, Pete Boyce (Bonnie) of High Point, NC, Creola Horne of High Point, NC, Mattie Hubbard of San Jose and Johnnie Dale of Rockville Md; his grandchildren, Michael, Vanessa, Scottie, Brandon, Tia, Kendra (Blake) and Darion; and his niece Cynthia Steed. He is also survived by eight great grandchildren; five great, great grandchildren.
