It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Daniel Varser Townsend III of High Point, North Carolina, born in Tarboro, North Carolina, who passed away on September 25, 2023, at the age of 52, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his parents, Daniel V. Townsend, Jr. and Mary E. Dehmer; his uncle Frank Townsend of Fayetteville; his sons, Joshua, Nathan and Stephen; his siblings, Jennifer, Michael and Robert; and also Danny Townsend. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
