He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Glenn Hilton and Lela Mae Green Hilton; his wife Sandra Hodges Hilton; and his nephews, Robert Hilton and Don Shang.
He is survived by: his children, DeLyn Hilton Shively (Dale) of High Point and Don David Hilton (Stephanie) of High Point; his siblings, Steve Fred Hilton of High Point and Peggy Wineman (Donald) of Salem, SC; and his grandsons, Ian Shively, Sean Shively and Dustin Hilton.
