He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Rhodes and Vivian Myers Rhodes; his wife Patsy Hayes Rhodes; and his sister Brenda Hill. He is survived by: his children, Jamie Smith, Debbie Phillips (Donnie) and Leanne Parker; his grandchildren, Courtney Shay, David Shay, Joshua Phillips, Jonathan Phillips (Karly), Jeffrey Phillips, Cammie Phillips, Dalton Smith, Rachel Smith, Savanna Parker and Rodney Parker, Jr.; and his great grandchild Lucas Shay-Barfield.
