He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee (Mildred Thompson) and David; his siblings, Barbara, Billie and Dan; and his aunt Doris Holland.
He is survived by: his wife Geraldine DeLois Bullock; his children, Renee Lewis and Andre Maurice Thompson; and his grandchildren, Xavier Lewis, Alexis McFall, Zaria Robbins and Janielle Albea. He is also survived by ten great-grandchildren; and a host of beloved nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the New Bethel Baptist Church (1116 Montlieu Ave, High Point, NC 27262). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
