He was predeceased by: his parents, Mather Foy Whitehead and Dorothy Henderson Whitehead. He is survived by: his sons, David "DJ" Whitehead, Jr. of Charlotte and Brandon Whitehead of Lexington; his sister Pam Karboski (Stan) of Jamestown; his niece Sarah Karboski of Greensboro; his nephew Alex Karboski (Lacey); his great-nephew Lucas; and his great-niece Sadie of Mebane.
Visitation was held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the High Point Chapel of Wright Funeral Services Email. A celebration of life was held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
