He is survived by: his mother Annie Grimes of Greenville; his wife Dorothy Powell; his children, Veronica Powell of High Point, Shanice Powell of High Point and Louis Powell, Jr. (Jessica Love) of High Point; his grandchild Alyna Powell of High Point; and his siblings, William Grimes, Jr. (Jeanette) of High Point, Milton Grimes (Trina) of Washington and Delois Purvis (Kelly) of High Point. He is also survived by other relatives and dear friends.
