With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dianne Phipps Dalton of High Point, North Carolina, who passed away on January 22, 2026 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to Dianne's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Dianne has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Russell Alger and Edith Payne Phipps. She is survived by: her children, Sheila Dalton of Carrboro and Charlie Dalton (Janis) of High Point; her grandchildren, Haley, Ava Dalton, Anne and Hank Neal; and her siblings, Patricia Griffin of Florida and James Phipps (Suzie) of High Point.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Dianne's memory can be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
