He was predeceased by: his parents, Horace Odell Raker and Iris Weavil Raker; and his brother Gwyn Anthony Raker. He is survived by: his wife Ann AuBuchon Raker; his children, Robin Sinclair (Bill) of Holden Beach, NC and Scott Raker (Chris) of Roanoke Va; his grandchildren, Kaitlyn Raker of Roanoke, Alison Danford (Hayden) of Raleigh, NC and Averie Martin (Devon); his great grandchildren, Addilyn of New Orleans and Astyn Martin of New Orleans; his sister-in-law Marianne Raker; his niece Caroline Caravella (Jason) of Roswell; his nephew Bryan Raker (Leeanne); and his great-niece Edie Raker of Marietta.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to Jamestown United Methodist Church, to Greensboro Children's Museum, or to one of Don's favorite charities The Community Clinic of High Point.
