With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Donald Allen Dowdy of High Point, North Carolina, who passed away on August 8, 2022 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Dowdy and Edna Beal Dowdy; his wife Ann; and his brother Bill Dowdy. He is survived by: his children, Ronald Dowdy of Florida and Donna Young (Ronny) of Archdale; and his sister Colleen Ferrell of High Point. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren; and many extended family and friends.
