He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Dickey and Nancy Medley Dickey; his grandson Christon Cherry; and his siblings, Jesse Medley, Dianne Ingram and Glenda Ingram.
He is survived by: his children, Robin Green of High Point, Shameka Warren of High Point, Michael Dickey (Kimberly) of High Point and Donald Dickey, Jr. of California; his granddaughters, India Cherry of New York, Quadasha Dickey, Mikayla Dickey, Micah Dickey of High Point and Reece Davis (Cory) of Greensboro; his siblings, Harold Dickey (Wanda) and Patricia Dickey of High Point; and his friend Michelle Russell of Maryland. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and longtime friends.
