He was predeceased by: his father Dale Retallack; his son Wesley Retallack; and his siblings, Arthur Retallack, Ruth Rambo, Priscilla Wilson and Sara Clark.
He is survived by: his wife Ginny Retallack; his children, Brett Retallack (Jennifer) and Brooke Anderson (Cory); his grandchildren, Aaron, Aiden Retallack, Ellie, Ava, Claire, Chloe and Heidi Anderson; and his brother Bruce Retallack.
