He is survived by: his children, Donnie Lee Barnes, Jr. (Christy) and Penny Lynn Atkins (Steve); his grandchildren, Alexa Barnes, Bentlee Barnes, Kaylee Barnes, Tiffany Stevens and Cody Custard; and his siblings, Ricky Barnes (Melanie), Linda Muse, Patsy Barnes and Kathy Parrish. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
