It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doris Louise Cecil (High Point, North Carolina), born in Davidson, North Carolina, who passed away on May 5, 2022, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ray Foster and Sadie Crotts Foster; her husband Dolan Cecil, Sr.; her son Mark Cecil; and her siblings, Mary Couples, Hilda Dunlap, Kathleen Hinkle, Bea Hartman, Raymond Foster, George Foster, Bill Foster and Edgar Foster.
She is survived by: her children, Ray Jordan (Linda), Sid Jordan, Robin Harrill (Jim), Dolan "Gus" Cecil, Jr. and Ted Cecil; her sisters, Carol Webb (Bruce), Betty Palmer and Patricia "Cookie" Furr (Larry); her grandchildren, Dane, Nicholas, Meredith, Zachary, Abby and Fayth; and her great grandchildren, Alexis, Olivia, Isabella, Emersyn, Jaden, Grayson, Kiley and Silas. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
