Doris Coggin Obituary

She was predeceased by: her parents, Lavada May Burton Royals and Henry Clay Royals. She is survived by: her husband Thayer Coggin; her children, Christopher Thayer Coggin (Erin) of High Point, Royale Coggin Wiggin (Mike) of Davidson County and Clark Alan Coggin (Brad Crone) of Raleigh; her grandchildren, Elizabeth Coggin Riley of Raleigh, Christopher Coggin of Charlotte, Lauren Coggin of High Point and Dr. Bruce Wiggin of Raleigh; and her great grandchildren, Jimmy, Charlotte Riley of Raleigh, Thayer and Wells Coggin of Charlotte.

The family recommends memorial gifts in lieu of flowers be sent to Mrs. Coggin's favorite charities, which include the Thayer & Dot Coggin Scholarship Fund at High Point University, High Point Medical Center, Pennybyrn at Maryfield and Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church.
