With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Doris Ann Gibson of High Point, North Carolina, born in Macon, Georgia, who passed away on October 20, 2023 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her daughter Lynde Gibson; and her mother Sophie Gunnels. She is survived by: her husband Walter "Buddy" Gibson; her children, Scott (Tim Edwards) of Raleigh and Lauran Bray (Eddie) of Fayetteville; her grandchildren, Alden Bray and Gibson Bray; and her sister Martha Jo Lineberger of Gainesville. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family request contributions be made to the Kate B Reynolds house in Winston-Salem in Dottie's honor.
