She was predeceased by: her parents, Hubert Laine and Gladys Spivey Laine; her husband William Thomas McLain; her daughter Brenda Davis; and her sister Mary Jennel.
She is survived by: her daughters, Laura McLain of High Point, Donna Talbert of Archdale and Cindy Everhart of High Point; her brother Jimmy Laine of Lexington; and her grandchildren, Andrew Thomas Everhart and Rebecca Jean Everhart.
