With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dorothy Southards (High Point, North Carolina), born in Sylva, North Carolina, who passed away on September 16, 2023 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Don; and her brother Roger. She is survived by: her children, Michael Southards (Kerra) of Nashville, IN, Douglas Southards of High Point and Anita Silvestri (Rick) of Thomasville; and her siblings, Evelyn, Joyce and Jack. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
