He is survived by: his children, Muriel "Cookie" Sanders (late Kevin) of High Point, NC, Maria Evett Swinton of High Point, NC, Dr. Fay Ashworth (Laronda) of Thomasville, NC, James Darren Swinton of High Point, NC, Shelia Darlene Williams (Houston) of South Chesterfield, VA, Alisha Michelle Miller (Derek) of Greensboro, NC, Michael Marques Swinton of Charlotte, NC and Lakshia Currie Brockington (Jamie) of High Point, NC; and his siblings, Ophelia Bennett of High Point, NC, Shirley Keel of High Point, NC, Sylvester Swinton (Hattie) of Chadbourn, NC and Karl Swinton (Debra) of Evergreens, NC. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
