He was predeceased by: his son Keith Elkins; and his brother Curtis "Corkey" Elkins. He is survived by: his wife Rita; his son Scott (Christy); his grandchildren, Nate, Jake and Holli Elkins; and his siblings, Cris (Gene), Larry (Nancy), Jerry (Lisa), Tony and Jackie Mooney (Tom).
