We announce the death of Edna Duncan Gordon of High Point, North Carolina, who passed away on August 2, 2026, at the age of 91. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Duncan and Beulah Cash Duncan; her husband James Gordon; her children, Teresa Pullins, James "Billy Byrd" Duncan and Daryl Byrd; and her siblings, Elizabeth Richardson, Virginia "Bear" Allen, Betty Duncan Smith, Beulah Mae Duncan, William "Bill" Duncan, James "Tom" Duncan and Joe Louis Duncan.

She is survived by: her children, Anita Crosby (Walter), Yolanda, Anukwuem, Ladonna "Shapel" Cobb (Maurice), Michael Byrd (Kim) and Jeffrey Byrd (Tammy); her siblings, Sarah "Frank" Leak, Emma Smith and Amos Duncan; and her granddaughter Renee Canty. She is also survived by grandchildren, great- grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends.
