It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eloise Whitworth (High Point, North Carolina), who passed away on October 6, 2025, at the age of 101, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Eunice Mitchell Littlejohn and Horace Graham; her husband Samuel Whitworth; her siblings, Ethel Thomas, Susie Mae Lipscomb, John Graham, Ernest Graham and Boyd Hermon Graham; and her daughters, Eunice "Ruby" Nance and Shelby "Charlene" Whitworth.
She is survived by: her children, John Henderson of Savannah, GA, Shirley Ingram of High Point, NC, Carl Chandler (Cassandra) of Aberdeen, NC, Ella Mae Henderson of High Point, NC, Dorothy Bell (Ulysses) of Elizabeth, NC, Gardenia "Dean" Taylor of High Point, NC, Tina Pickett (Wendall) of Trinity, NC, Ronnie Whitworth of High Point, NC and Larry Whitworth (Donna) of High Point, NC; her sister Nannie Mae Shane (Marvin) of Cherokee County, SC; Eloise. She is also survived by twenty-five grandchildren, thirty-eight great-grandchildren, twenty-five great-great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
