Elsie leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Elsie’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. Though she is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support she offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Elsie will carry forward her memory in their hearts.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clinton McDowell and Iona Harvell; her granddaughter Lindsey Riddle; and her brother Carl McDowell. She is survived by: her daughter Sherry Jarrell (Craig); her grandson Joshua Riddle (Stephanie); her great grandchildren, Aidyn Brown and Jessa Brown; and her siblings, Jean Davis (Jimmy), Linda Montsinger, Randy McDowell (Tammy) and Billy McDowell. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 28th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the High Point (1720 Westchester Dr, High Point, NC 27262). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 28th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
