She was predeceased by: her parents, Emory Hayes Sr. and Lucella McKellar Hayes; her husband Rudolph Thompson Sr.; her siblings, Emory Hayes Jr., Luvina, Eunice McKellar, Armeta Hayes and Wanda McKoy; and her children, Rudolph Thompson Jr., James Thompson, Eddie Lee, Richard Charles Thompson and Annette Thompson.

She is survived by: her children, Andrew Thompson (Ella), Mae Helen Barr (Preston), Hazel Haney (Wilkes), Darlene Poole (David), Vanessa Williams (Harold Jean), Betty Ruth Wheeler, Patrica Moore, Flora Jones and Irene Holmes; her daughters-in-law, Kathy Thompson and Rosa Thompson; her godsons, Brain Harrington and Tyler Davis; her grandchild Sixteen; and her sister Maxine Bonner of Tulsa. She is also survived by Sixteen Great-Grandchildren, One Great-Great-Grandchild.
