It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eugenia Hepler (Hill) Atkinson of High Point, North Carolina, born in Catawba, North Carolina, who passed away on February 10, 2023, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene Hill and Effie Hepler Hill; and her husband Elwood Homer Atkinson of Surry County. She is survived by: her siblings, Everett Hill, Pauline Skyes, Vida Johnston and Frances Keener; her children, Tom Atkinson of Greensboro, Phillip Atkinson of Lexington, Deborah Taggert, Andra Grundman and Paula Atkinson of Winston Salem; and her grandchildren, Erin Taylor (Chris) of New Jersey and Christian Grundman. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
