The memory of Evelyn May Busby of High Point, North Carolina, who passed away on October 18, 2025 at the age of 101, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. As we bid adieu to Evelyn's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Evelyn has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Olan Bemis and Robertine Toussint Bemis; her daughter Janice Busby; and her sister Elizabeth Thomas. She is survived by: her son Allen Busby (Tammie Wegener Busby) of High Point.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Oakwood Memorial Park (512 Steele St, High Point, NC 27262).
