She was predeceased by: her parents, Sherrill R. Ferrell and Georgia Miller Ferrell; her siblings, Helen Ferrell Johnson of St. Louis, MO and James Ferrell of Huntersville, NC; and her granddaughter Julie Ballenger of Charleston, SC..
She is survived by: her husband Paul Christenbury of Davidson, NC; her sons, Michael (Judy Rogers), David (Jo Ellen Rogers) and Jimmy (Lu Rogers); her grandchildren, Briana Pettit, Conan Pettit and Kellie Bass; her great grandchildren, Jake Pettit, Haley Pettit, Ian McAvoy and Skylar McAvoy; her niece Diane Johnson; and her nephews, Mark Johnson, Steve Ferrell and Scott Ferrell.
