It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Frances Dare Johnson (High Point, North Carolina), who passed away on April 21, 2026, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Berlie Foster and Laura Mae Foster; her parents-in-law, Luther Johnson and Ethel Johnson; her daughter-in-law Linda Harris Johnson; her brothers, Taft Foster and Alvin Foster; her brothers-in-law, Ronnie Anderson, Dan Miller, Fred Evans, Buddy Tugman, Harrison Johnson, Bill Cundiff, Stoney Jackson and Don Dillard; her sisters, Roxie Foster Anderson, Dorothy Foster Miller (Dottie), Valerie Foster Evans and Beth Foster Tugman; and her sisters-in-law, Hazel Johnson, Vesta Johnson Sloan, Pansy Johnson Cundiff, Carolyn Johnson Jackson, Gwendola Johnson Dillard, Eilene Johnson and Shirley Jarvis Johnson.

She is survived by: her children, Frances Johnson Tucker (Gary), Tommy Johnson (Belinda) and Ken Johnson (Daphne); her grandsons, Allen Tucker (Tracey), Patrick Tucker Brad Johnson (Thomasa) and Brian Johnson (Paula); her great grandchildren, Haze Tucker, Bella Tucker, Cori Johnson Fricke (Justin), Elliot Johnson and Emma Johnson (Frankie); and her great great grandchild Priscilla Fricke. She is also survived by three children, four grandsons, four great grandchildren, one great, great grandchild.
