He was predeceased by: his father Oscar Wiley; and his daughter Teresa Denise Spivey. He is survived by: his wife Ruth Kirkman; and his son Timothy Kirkman. He is also survived by six grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses.
