She was predeceased by: her parents, Gerald Saunders and Barbara Jarrett Saunders; her husband Harvey Saunders; and her sons, Steve Saunders and Mark Saunders.
She is survived by: her daughters, Dawnmarie Tennefoss (Gregg) of Chesapeake and Debi Hughes (Joe) of High Point; and her siblings, John Saunders of Clearwater and Terri Jo Carter of Ocala, Florida.. She is also survived by six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
