It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gertie Key (High Point, North Carolina), who passed away on January 14, 2024, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Winfield Pennix and Etta Estelle Pennix; and her siblings, Wade, Harry, Roy Pennix, Margie Hicks and Mary Taylor.
She is survived by: her sister Patricia Younger.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to Green Street Baptist Church, Piedmont Hospice or Samaritan's Purse.
