She was predeceased by: her parents, Neil Turner and Ruth Turner Mosley; her brother David Turner; and her brother-in-law Ray Welborn. She is survived by: her husband Robert Smith; her children, Tonya Bane Wall (AJ) and Joey Whitaker; her grandsons, Jaden Whitaker, Neil Bane and Ryan Bane; her siblings, Jackie (Doris Turner), Janice Welborn, Wanda Turner and Robin Turner; and her close friends, Jimmy, Kim and Travis Hayden. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Cumby Family Funeral Service - Archdale (206 Trindale Rd, Archdale, NC 27263). Visitation will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
